Step 2: After extracting all the files in a separate folder, open the folder and go to META INF/com/google/android.
Step 3: There you will see an update script file. Open it via notepad.
Step 4: You will see a lot of sentences there. All you need to do is to delete a whole line starting from the “assert(getprop(“ro.product.device”)…..“ till you get “; (semi-colon)” from the file and save it.
Note: It’s the very first line in the script, so you don’t have to navigate further.
Step 5: Make the zip file of the folder containing all the files, the one that was extracted from the ROM.
Step 6: Copy the new zip file on your SD card and then flash it on your device. You will see that the ROM will be flashed without any error.
